April Anomalies A-Z: Irin

The eyes of the Irin
are the eyes of God
and the eyes of God
are loose upon the earth.

A thousand glimmering eyes

Ten thousand eyes in the night

The eyes of the Irin are watching.

Observe

The eyes of Adonai are ranging about the earth;

each of them is named and their names are known
but you must never say their names
especially at night when their powers are reinforced,
even in the course of study you must not speak their names.

Observe

What has been written will come to pass
and what will come to pass will be observed
coming down from heaven in tracks of fire

When a five legged lamb is born on the White House lawn
it will be observed.
When Grigori moves between this world and the next
he will be observed.
When transgenic species rise upon the earth
they will be observed.

Be vigilant.  Never surrender
you must give yourself to the cause
and to the victory of history.

This is part of April Anomalies A-Z, a creative writing exercise and not intended to be an altogether accurate picture of the creatures described above.   The Irin are angelic “watchers;” they see everything, but I wonder if even they might have been surprised by this.
