May You Love

When you are betrayed,
may you love.
When you are turned over, turned out and turned down,
may you love.

May you love as you have been loved
                and as you are loved
for this is how the world will recognize you,
and how he will be glorified in you.

When you are abandoned by friends,
may you love.
When they deny and leave you when you need them most
may you love,
for in this the Son of Man is glorified,
and God is glorified in him.
