Call Me Polonius

When the wind is right
I can tell a plagiarist from a Pelagian,
but now
with these lights in the sky
hovering in formation
like something seen by
John the Revelator,
I am unsure.

The signs are unclear
the stars clouded,
the future uncertain.

I would prophesy that you bring word
of the heretics at the end of the book,
but prophets get no respect,
neither here nor at home.
