We spent today flying. Flying from Chicago to London and from London to Tel Aviv. 1) Airplanes were not made for tall people. 2)It is impossible to surreptitiously get up to use the lavatory at 4 AM on an airplane. 3)The TSA agents think I'm suspicious looking. The first one to inspect my boarding pass, passport, said to me, "doesn't look good for you, Jeffrey." (He hadn't looked very closely at my boarding pass and thought I was lying to him...) 4) the Duty-Free shop in the airport isn't nearly as interesting as the name makes it sound. Big disappointment. 5.) My friend A. is on this trip with us. A. is a great guy, but good golly, once he gets to talking to you, you can't get away.
Here are a few photos from somewhere over:
1) Somewhere over England
2) Somewhere over Turkey
3) Somewhere over the Mediterranean
4) Our hotel looking over Netyana, Israel
