Come, let us away to make noise;
come along as we shout and sing
before the face of an unseen God.
It is worship to kneel into the hands
that enfold both mysteries hiding
in the dark depths of the earth
and glories on the mountain top.
Don’t be hard.
Don’t be brickhearted pharaohs
of your own dry desert destinies;
don’t let this psalm end
with the oath of wrath and restlessness.
(Psalm 95)
