My friend, AJF was disappointed that my limerick from the other day, Absalom, Oh Absalom!, was not about the William Faulker novel. So I have written a limerick for her.
ehem... for AJF, a limerick:
Literature and books I distrust;
modernist authors leave me nonplussed-
so this here is, I guess,
the place where I confess
I've never read A Light in August.
