Revelation 10 – Another Fragment from Dr. Tarrec’s Alchemical Commentary on the Apocalypse

And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head and his face was, as it were, the sun, and his feet as pillars fire: and he had in his hands a scroll, a little book, opened for all to see: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left upon the earth, and cried out with a loud voice as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried thus the seven thunders spake their voices.

This is an alchemical angel – a messenger of chemical formulas lost in time, hidden since that first fiery explosion that produced the whole firmament of the universe with all its essential elements.  He is a powerful reagent sent by God to bring about a reaction upon the earth – yet he is clothed in the other elements:  Clouds (Air + Water), Rainbow (Water + Air + Fire), Sun (Fire) Pillars of Fire (Fire + Air).

In his hands he carries a book, an ancient tome containing a record of those forgotten formulas.  It would be vain to speculate to any great extent upon the secrets of that book in hope of gaining definite knowledge of what is written upon its faded pages.  And yet… we cannot help but wonder.

For when the angel touched down, with one foot upon the waters and the other upon the earth, he cried out in a loud voice, like that of a lion.  And he was answered by the Seven Thunders, who spoke the secrets of that book.  They uttered aloud, in thunderous voices, those hidden mysteries.

And when the seven thunders had uttered many words, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from out of the heaven saying to me, “Seal up those things which the seven thunders have spoken, and write them not.”

We must, however grudgingly, acquiesce to the directions given to John concerning them.  We must leave them as he did, sealed and unknown.  There is, however, a conjecture concerning them that may not be inappropriately mentioned here.  It is the considered opinion of many learned physicists among whom I have the great privilege to work, that there may yet remain a faint echo of those thunderous voices.  The vibration of their words upon the air may yet linger, dissipated in time, yes, but still retaining all the original information.   If we could but isolate and amplify the voice patterns of those Seven Thunders (and surely their voice prints must be distinguishable from all other voices, both human and animal) then we could hear once more what John the Seer heard those millennia ago.

Following out upon the above conjecture, the conclusion must be that we, living in our advance technological time with sophisticated instruments can reclaim this hidden piece of history.  As startling and strange as this may sound, we can once again learn the secrets of the universe, and reveal (for this is a Revelation) the elemental nature of God’s ordering providence.   We can fa….
