Then came the Festival of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and
Jesus was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade. The Jews who
were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense?
If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. John 10: 22 - 25

Tell us plainly, they
begged him. Tell us plainly and we’ll
believe you.
Except that they wouldn’t have believed him. Not at all. Once people have
their minds made up about an issue no matter what you say or do to convince

As evidence of this principle one has only to observe the continued belief that President Barack Obama is a Muslim terrorist. No matter how many times he has said that he is a Christian, no matter how many times he’s heard to talk about his faith in Jesus of Nazareth, no matter how many times he prays or attends a Christian church…there are still far too many who refer to him as “the muslim moronic terrorist in the WH” (that quote is lifted from a comment published today on a friend’s FB page.)

Tell us plainly…
Yeah, right.
Yeah, right.
