Now the word of the LORD came to me,
“Jeremiah, what do you see?”
So I looked all around
and, coming from the ground,
I saw the branch of an almond tree.
And then the LORD answered back to me,
“Jeremiah, my son,
that is very well done;
you have, indeed, seen it correctly.
Watch my word be fulfilled, presently.”
