It's been some time since I've written one of these biblical limericks. I'll have to thank my friend Aj for suggesting this one.
If, when two men are
having a fight
and the wife of one should, in her spite,
reach out with her hand
to protect her husband,
squeeze his assailant’s stones with her might,
you must then, showing her no favor,
cut off her hand, though it should maim her,
for the men must fight fair
and none should interfere
with this display of manly behavior.
and the wife of one should, in her spite,
reach out with her hand
to protect her husband,
squeeze his assailant’s stones with her might,
you must then, showing her no favor,
cut off her hand, though it should maim her,
for the men must fight fair
and none should interfere
with this display of manly behavior.
Deuteronomy 25:11-12
