Background Images for Everyone - Week 25 - 2017

I am attempting to keep a few things normal - while everything else in my life is up in the air. I'm changing jobs after 18 years, buying a house, moving (into the new house)... and trying keep up with the free, weekly background images.

Here is this week's image - free to you or someone like you, free for you to use *at work, or school, or diving in your car. I only ask that you share it freely and that you tell others you found it here.

*at work, or school, or driving in your car....

If you're interested in knowing the details, these irises are growing along the fence between my backyard and my neighbor's yard.

Background Images for Everyone - Week 20 - 2017

The week almost slipped past me without my sharing the free background image for this week. Sorry. It's been a little crazy in the Carter house.

Still - the image, as always, is yours to use as your very own. Please share it with others and tell them you found it here.

I like the simplicity of this one. There's really nothing tricky going on here; it is a small, red glass bowl, and blue, cloth napkin. That's it. Enjoy.

Background Images for Everyone - Week 19 - 2017

This week's image comes in two versions - 1) suitable for Easter (as I make them for our church  programs) and 2) 'normal'.  Use either or both. Enjoy.

Background Images for Everyone - 2017 - Week 13

It's a bit later than usual, but I hope that I can be forgiven as I am on vacation with my family. Here is this week's free background image. Use it wisely, share it freely.

And for those of you who like to know - this photograph was taken at the National Museum of American Indians - the coolest of the Smithsonian buildings.

It's free to you and to yours. Use it as your very own. I only ask that you share it freely and that you tell others that you found it here.

(If you're interested to know such things - I photographed this image by shooting through a red glass bowl towards the setting sun.)

Background Images for Everyone - Week 6 - 2017

Here it is - the (nearly) regular feature of this blog: a free background image for you to download and use as your very own. Use it home, at school, at work, at church. Use it in good health. I only ask that you share it freely and that you tell others that you found it here.

Catching Up with the Background Images for Everyone - 2017

I hadn't forgotten. Not completely. But I've been delayed. In part, because my camera is not functioning. I've sent it to the repair shop to have the work done, but it's not back yet. So I'm making do, by going back through some older photos that I've taken that I either hadn't used, or that I've processed a bit differently for these three background images.

As with all the Background Images for Everyone, these images are free to you and yours. You are free to use them as you will at home, work, school, church, wherever. I only ask that 1- you share them freely and 2- that you tell others you found them here.

Enjoy.
