Halloween Is Irredeemable - But Christmas Is Okay...

Pat Robertson (and numerous others of his ilk) like to say that Halloween is an evil, demonic holiday to be avoided by Christians. Just look at it's pagan roots, they say.  It's irredeemably corrupt because of druid beginnings and etc...



Yet these same folks (most of them) are quite content to blissfully ignore the pagan roots of many of our beloved Christmas traditions.

Pat Robertson - never one to learn from his mistakes - has released his latest predictions for the upcoming year. In his crystal ball he's seen chaos (he always sees chaos), a win for the Republicans (now he's just being redundant), a credit crisis caused by China, and a surfin' president Obama.

Sounds like fun to me.

 And let's not forget the time that God told Pat who was going to win the election, but Pat said that he probably shouldn't talk about it.

Remember - Pat Robertson Already Knows Who Will Win the Election

We're in the final days of this seemingly endless presidential campaign.  There are only a few days left before Americans will cast their votes to decide which of the candidates will be our next president.  And it's a good thing, too.  If I have to watch any more election commercials I might start to miss commercials for feminine hygiene products.

But,as exasperating the campaigns have become,  let's not forget that everyone's favorite media mogul and televangelist,  Pat Robertson, already knows who is going to be the winner. He's known for months because God told him.

"I think he showed me about the next president," Robertson said way back in January, "but I'm not supposed to talk about it."

Some of us might still be wondering and praying about the upcoming election.  But Pat Robertson's already got the inside scoop.

I put together this little piece of music to celebrate his revelation.
