Listen! (Psalm 49)
Listen, all you high and mighty people.
Listen, all you people of the earth.
Now listen!
1. Shall we fear the evil days?
Or those with evil ways?
Or those who trust in wealth? Ah!
2. See the wealthy man who dies.
Seethe foolish, and the wise.
Do they not all see the grave? Ah!
3. Can your wealth stave off the grave?
No! Only God can save!
